Tamari soy sauce is a gluten-free option available, dark soy sauce which is a little sweeter, or even low sodium soy sauce will work.

Frequently ask question.

Why do you use old rice?

You want to use 1-day-old rice because if you use fresh rice it will become mushy when you cook it in the pan, using 1-day-old rice allow the rice to firm up and not become mushy when reheated in the pan.

What other vegetables can we use?

The best part of fried rice is that it allows itself to become very versatile, you can use any veggies you have in the fridge or any that you would like to buy, broccoli, snap peas, and even baby corn.
