Easy Beef Pho Recipe

Making an easy Beef pho recipe is easy, its flavors are comforting seasoned beef broth with thinly sliced meat. Served with scallion, white onion, bean sprouts, jalapenos, and cilantro and you can make it as easy as 35 min at home.

What type of beef pho base should I use?
I use Cot Pho Bo Beef flavor Pho Soup Base it has an amazing depth of flavor, especially when you need a quick recipe. You can find it at any Asian grocery store or from amazon as well.

Easy Beef Pho recipe
Equipment
- 1 knife
- 1 cutting board
- 1 Pot
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. Pho Soup base
- 5 cups Water
- 3 each Star anis
- 3 each Cloves
- 1 each Cinnamon stick
- 1 each White onion
- 1 each Ginger root
- 1 lbs. Thinly slice beef ( I used Eye of round)
- 8 oz. bean sprouts
- 1 bunch Scallion (Green Onion)
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1 pack Rice noodles
Instructions
- Start by charring your onion and ginger in a pan on high heat and get a good caramelization on both sides. Getting a good char usually takes 3 minutes on each side

2. Next add onion, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, star anis, Rock sugar(you can substitute regular sugar if needed and beef pho soup base to water in a pot and bring to a boil after it boils turn it down to medium-low heat and allow to reduce for 30 min to concentrate the taste.

3. While your broth is reducing you will soak your rice noodle in a bowl with hot water for 10 minutes ( Please read the directions on the rice noodle you purchase every noodle has different directions on how to prep).

4. Next Prep and slice your Scallion (green onion), white onion, and bean sprouts,( the meat you will purchase from the store already sliced)

5. Next you can start place rice noodles first in a bowl followed by bean sprouts, white onion, scallion, cilantro, and thinly slice meat.

6. Poor the hot broth over your bowl, yes the broth needs to be super hot to cook the thinly sliced meat. All that’s left is to enjoy.
